The 2025 Kicks has replaced the 1.6L four-cylinder with a 2.0L unit. This new engine produces 141 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque, representing a notable performance improvement over the 122 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque in the prior model. The engine is mated to Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT).
4. Upgraded Interior
Interior comfort has been scaled up for 2025. The Kicks features Nissan’s Zero Gravity front seats, which support proper ergonomics to reduce driving fatigue. While the S and SR trims come with cloth upholstery, the top SR trim offers leatherette seats with red stitching. While the base S trim has an 8-inch center touchscreen, SV and SR trims now feature a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen and a fully digital 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. All models offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but SV and SR add a wireless charging pad, remote start capabilities, and compatibility with NissanConnect.
