The Nissan Kicks enters 2025 with a complete redesign, sporting a fresh new look, bigger size, updated powertrain, better technology, and more luxurious interior. With so much to cover, let’s dive right into five reasons why you should choose the 2025 Nissan Kicks.

1. Bigger Size

The Kicks has been redesigned from the ground up. The vehicle now has a 104.7-inch wheelbase, and is three inches longer and over one inch taller than its predecessor. Thanks to the bigger size, rear-seat passengers get over 38 inches of legroom, making the 2025 Kicks one of the most spacious SUVs in the subcompact SUV class. Maximum cargo space has also grown in size: 60 cu.ft. compared to the previous 53 cu.ft.

2. Available AWD

For the first time, the Kicks can be ordered with all-wheel drive, making it a more capable year-round vehicle. The AWD system includes four drive modes: Standard, Eco, Sport, and Snow. Each mode optimizes performance in different conditions.

3. More Powerful Engine

The 2025 Kicks has replaced the 1.6L four-cylinder with a 2.0L unit. This new engine produces 141 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque, representing a notable performance improvement over the 122 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque in the prior model. The engine is mated to Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT).

4. Upgraded Interior

Interior comfort has been scaled up for 2025. The Kicks features Nissan’s Zero Gravity front seats, which support proper ergonomics to reduce driving fatigue. While the S and SR trims come with cloth upholstery, the top SR trim offers leatherette seats with red stitching. The dashboard layout has been improved, putting all controls within easy reach of the driver and raising the placement of the touchscreen to be closer to the driver’s line of sight.

5. Modernized Technology

While the base S trim has an 8-inch center touchscreen, SV and SR trims now feature a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen and a fully digital 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. All models offer wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but SV and SR add a wireless charging pad, remote start capabilities, and compatibility with NissanConnect.

The new Nissan Kicks offers improvements across every category, making it a well-rounded option for those seeking a reliable, urban-sized crossover with modern features. Come down to Wallace Nissan of Kingsport in Kingsport, TN to take a look at the all-new Kicks.
